We will cover key areas such as internal controls deficiencies and common ways to mitigate the risks, building a proper audit trail, implementing and designing application security, privileged user / super user monitoring, support principles and design, implementing application controls and change management best practices.

Application Security Design Best Practices
In this seminar, we will look at the proper design and implementation of application security and related best practices. We will review the features of the traditional function security model as well as the use of Oracle’s User Management module (UMX). We will discuss how to implement NSIT’s RBAC standard and how to properly design security based on roles. We will also discover how to build a proper audit trail for both management monitoring and compliance purposes. Finally, we will cover various best practices and how to implement these principles in an E-Business Suite environment.
