A collaborative event presented by:

Users of Oracle Technologies and Applications convened in Orlando for a high-energy, information-packed five days of learning and networking at COLLABORATE 09: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community.
This annual conference is presented by the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) in partnership with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and the Quest International Users Group (Quest).
Widely known for being a user-focused, user-led conference, COLLABORATE 09 featured 19 educational tracks that addressed some of the most pressing challenges Oracle customers are facing and presented ideas, best practices and resources for tackling those challenges. Every conference attendee had the opportunity to build a unique learning itinerary by using a custom agenda builder to search and select from more than 1000 education sessions.
If you were unable to attend COLLABORATE 09, the OAUG is making it possible for COLLABORATE 09 to come to you. And, if you attended the conference but had difficulty choosing from among the many excellent sessions, it’s not too late to catch a session that you may have missed or share your favorite with a colleague. How?
Watch for announcements about the availability of the COLLABORATE 09 conference papers and audio recordings.
COLLABORATE 09 offered many occasions for conference attendees to connect and learn from each other through social and networking events. The OAUG’s worldwide Geographic (Geo) and Special Interest Group (SIG) communities assembled like-minded individuals for spirited and stimulating discussions more than 45 SIG meetings throughout the week and at the Geo Community Café luncheons. Additional events brought people together over drinks, food, fun and entertainment.
Visitors to the Exhibitor Showcase at COLLABORATE 09 had the opportunity to browse for exciting new technologies and solutions presented by more than 250 providers of Oracle-related products and services — all while enjoying the thrill of THEgame at the OAUG membership area, informative presentations in the OAUG Mini Theater, the OAUG Relaxation Lounge, enticing cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the networking receptions, and much more.
Further enhancing the COLLABORATE 09 learning environment and demonstrating its strong, collaborative interaction with the users group community, Oracle delivered more than 15 executive presentations, including the opening keynote address by Oracle President Charles Phillips; conducted more than 15 hands-on lab sessions; demonstrated numerous products and services in the Exhibitor Showcase; and participated in many one-on-one discussions with attendees.
The OAUG celebrated the first birthday of the OAUG Knowledge Factory™, a collaborative knowledge resource for OAUG members worldwide that serves as a dynamic conduit to member blogs, tips and tricks and the OAUG Conference Paper Database. If you are looking for ways to enhance your personal performance as well as your company’s return on investment in Oracle products, the Knowledge Factory connects you with users, implementers and experts in the greater Oracle community.
